Hello! My drawings look great, but the text looks crappy on my webpage. How can I fix? Drawings done on paper, scanned, imported into Photoshop and text placed with PS. Exported as jpeg, then finished panel placed inside a graphic box in FW (Express) - looks like this: www.gonzolia.com
Many thanks! Marcos
ps: already tried changing to gif and unchecking “combine graphics”.
Looks like the default output for the graphic from Freeway. Try this: Click on your graphic on the Freeway Page. In the Inspector panel click on the 3rd icon from left. Change Type to PNG and Colours to Millions. Publish and there should be an improvement in your text.
Hi David. Yeah, I thought of doing that. I just may. By the way, would you happen to know if FW Pro would do a better job with the text/graphic problem (I use Express)?
The truly best way to do this is to erase the text from the picture, draw an HTML box and set the image as the background to that box, and then set the type as HTML text within the box. With careful styling, you can make it look exactly like your cartoon, and it will be sharp on Retina screens as well as normal ones.
