Hi All,
I have to re-design my member page for my Toastmaster group (http://highnoontoastmasters.com/) and thought I’d give it an international flavor given so many of our members are from various countries. So I’m planning a member page with each person’s pic plus the flag of their country some how popping up.

But design wise I’m having trouble in that flags are horizontal/rectangle and a web page seems more vertical to me. And a person’s pic is vertical. So I am thinking roll overs might be tricky. I have Flash MX 2004 but I’m afraid that a page with a lot of pics will load slowly in Flash. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas, just looking to bounce ideas…

It looks like your photos are all anamorphic. They are stretched to fit the boxes they are in, maybe.

I would have the pic with the name together and maybe just have them in columns under the flag of the country they are from rather than having anything popping up.

Or, hover over a flag at the top of the page and the column beneath shows up.

Unless, you just want something more dynamic.
