Hello,
Is Showcase Extras compatible with 5.5 Express? Is so, could you help me understand how to install it?
As instructed, I dropped the SE icon on the FE icon. It appeared that the install worked. Yet I am unable to access this action. It does not appear within the page actions menu, nor the items actions menu.
I see that Showcase Extras.fwactionb is in the user library within the Freeway Express 5/Actions/General/(asian characters?) folder.
Your assistance appreciated!

I am not sure what version of Mac OS you are using but in Snow Leopard the action is in user/library/application support/freeway5/actions/general
It is accessed by using Page>Page Actions>Showcase Extras or by clicking on the + at the bottom left of the action palette/window and then selecting it there (make sure that you do not have any item on the page selected)

Thanks for the reply.
Am using Lion rather than SL, if that makes a difference.
In user/library/application support there was no folder for Freeway5, but there was one for Freeway5 Express.
Just as a test, created a folder per your spec, moved the action there, but still can not get Freeway to see it.
Perhaps I need to reinstall Freeway and the action. Unless you can offer some other guidance.

Yes - it does. And as I am not a Lion user I am not sure where the ‘Actions’ folder is located.

Contacted Softpress and they supplied the answer.
Though the action can indeed be used with Freeway Express, it had not been encoded to do so. They emailed the correctly encoded version.

I’ve just revised this Action to fix an outstanding issue and add another feature and in doing so added a version for Freeway Express;http://actionsforge.com/actions/view/226-showcase-extras
