I don’t know why I can’t single space! Is there a way? When I am typing out text, if I want to drop down to the next line, such as for a list, I get double space. I don’t always want this! So, to try and get the single space, I just hit the space bar til it all goes where I want it. This doesn’t work either in most cases. It is not WYSIWYG… I see this:

A row of spaces in HTML get reduced to a single space unless you use a non-breaking space ie option+space

To get a new line without a paragraph return use Shift+Return

You can adjust line spacing (leading) in the Style Menu.

But if you want a list then create your lines of text, select them all and then use the Style Menu to make them a list.
