[Express] Loading gif

Has anyone used a “loading” gif whilst a Quicktime movie loads? If so how did you install it?

I’ve tried to do this, but what happens is that the moment that the
QuickTime plug-in loads, it carves out the space in the browser where
the video lives, and makes the loading graphic disappear. The net
effect is that the loading graphic never shows at all. It’s there if
you view source, but that’s not very helpful.

As far as how to do it, simply click once on your HTML box containing
the movie, and set the background image of that box to be your
animated GIF. Set the position to center center, no-repeat and you’re
done.

You could try setting the background color of your QuickTime to
transparent, and set the showlogo flag to false, and maybe then it
would show through. I’ll have to go back and try that on the site
where I tested this idea previously.
