[Express] Locks When I Attempt to Create Link

Hi everyone,
I’ve encountered a funky problem. I’m building a Web site. I’ve created many hundreds of links for it. Suddenly, tonight, I can’t create links anymore! I highlight the text as a first step toward creating the link; I go to Edit, then to Hyperlink; I click on Hyperlink - and boom, the program locks up. (Not the computer.) I have to restart the program. Any thoughts? Thanks for reading this.

I found the solution. I had been using two screens for Part One of the process, one screen for Part Two of the process, and I forgot, in Part Two, that stuff that was on the second screen wouldn’t be visible with only one screen. And if that makes sense, I’m amazed. I’m also tired. Good night.
