[Express] Mal's Gift Vouchers

Does anyone know how to add a gift voucher option using Mal’s e-commerce? I’ve tried using the form action and applying the various values to the appropriate files, but I can’t get Mal’s to recognize the item as a gift voucher. Do I need the Freeway Actions Suite?
