[Express] prevent search engines indexing my sub domain

Hello

I have a sub domain to my main website and do not want this sub domain indexed by google and other search engines.

I have followed the instructions in the Softpress knowledge base to add a robot meta tag to the pages within the sub domain: noindex, nofollow

Am I right in thinking this will ONLY affect this specific sub domain?

I don’t want it to stop robots indexing the whole of my site!!

Not the sub domain but the pages that you have marked noindex, nofollow

Other pages without this will be indexed as normal whether in the subdomain or not.
