I recently made changes to my website: madisonavenuetaskforce.org. I committed the cardinal sin of not saving my work before uploading it. It uploaded successfully. I wanted to make a few more changes while the app was still open. App crashed. When app was re-started, my file had reverted to the last saved version. I checked the website on the web and it has the changes I had made earlier. So now I have a web version that is more or less up-to-date and a file version that has none of these changes. Is there a way to “reverse engineer” this situation to have the web version re-populate my file version with the changes I made earlier? This might save me quite a bit of time updating the file version. I’m a complete novice at this, if you haven’t figured that out already.
I think that you will find that it will be much quicker to do the second time - besides you will have text that you can copy/paste from the online version and a visual to refer to…
The lesson to be learned is - Save as you go. Not just a FW thing but a Prime Directive!
