[Express] Someone please get me up and running

Hallo, Ok, just need a little help here to get started. I have done the exercise that came with the freeway, it seemed so simple to get started, but I wanted now to do something slightly different and its not simple anymore.

I had this problem when I was hand-coding last year, actually one of the reasons I decided this time to go with a wysiwyg interface, and now it seems I am back with the same problem.

Please picture an index.html, the home page if you like. Two images split equally accross the whole screen. The problem lies with measurements. When someone views the screen, and they want to resize it down slightly, or more often - people have different screen sizes. So how do I place two images that move as the screen re-sizes? Or that fill the screens of the average user? I need to place two HTML boxes, a GIF, (graphics item box is no good for this), so two HTML boxes, then drop the images into the two boxes and voila, they fill the screen. So they are not fixed in other words.

Kind regards and thankyu for your time.

So do you want 2 images, side by side that stretch to fit full width of the browser window - in other words images that resize rather than images that move left and right (with a gap between)?

Hallo David, hope you are well, thankyou ever so much for replying. That is it exactly. Two images side by side on the welcome page, as a backgound so to speak, where on top of those images that fill the entire welcome page there will be 5 or 6 small images which will serve solely as hyperlinks to their respective galleries. Each of the links will of course have descriptive text next to them serving as gallery titles.

There are 2 Actions - Full Background image http://actionsforge.com/projects/view/75-full-background-image and Full Background Proportional http://actionsforge.com/projects/view/86-full-background-proportional
which will apply an image as a background and make it fit the browser window.

To do what you want you would have to combine your 2 images into 1 to get it to work but here is the Caveat. I do not know if these Actions work with Express.

Also I note - with some incredulity - that one of these has been credited to me - mistakenly I might add.
