I’m making progress on my site thanks to everyone’s help so far, now i need another hopefully easy fix.
I entered too large a value for a contact form text field size that’s inside a html item, and FW x’d out the larger html box that the text field resides in. i hope that makes sense.
I then entered a value that i know will fit, but the ‘x’ still remains. ‘fix box to contents’ didn’t help either. how do i get rid of the ‘x’?
Freeway is telling you that the layout you’ve designed can’t be
achieved in HTML. Take a look at this KB article for more information:
Hope it helps,

Okay, yes I did what that article prescribes (I resized the article) but the x didn’t go away.
Let me be more specific as to what I did, that may help:
-I used the script from my server for my “Contact” form, and pasted it onto my page. It worked like a champ.
-The Size of the ‘message’ input box was 36, but I wanted it larger, so I changed it to 50 to see what would happen. That’s when the ‘x’ blocked out everything.
-I then changed the size back to 36 (back to the value that worked), but the ‘x’ did not go away
i think i’m in the bermuda triangle of electronic devices
There must be an item somewhere that is overlapping the one with the
X, try resizing more than the item you changed, if that still doesn’t
work then send the Freeway file into us at support and we’ll take a
look for you: support(a)softpress.com
