External CSS in Freeway 5

Hi

I was just wondering if the new version of Freeway gives the option of external style sheets?

Thanks

Hi Does anyone know the answer to this or if it can be done with an extension in freeway 4 pro?

Thanks

Freeway (since version 4) has had the ability to create its own
external CSS files. Freeway since version 2 has had the ability to
use them with an Action. Look on the Softpress Knowledgebase for the
External Stylesheets Action if you are still using version 3 or earlier.

One thing that would help answer this question is to know what your
need is about? Do you need to be able to edit the CSS sheets in a
separate application, or to import externally-created stylesheets?
What’s the underlying reason you need them, in other words.

Thanks Waltd, I was looking at possibilities of using freeway with CMS made simple which uses external css.

I have just been looking in Freeway 4 pro, please could you tell me how to create an external CSS file?

I would like to be able to create a web template in freeway with separate XHTML and CSS files to then use with CMS made simple.

Many thanks

In the Document Setup dialog, on the Output pane, check External
stylesheets on.

Realize, though, that Freeway will still keep all of the positional
style information inline, it does not move the dimensions or
positions of objects off to the external stylesheet. As far as I can
tell from the public beta, this has not changed in Freeway 5 either.

But if you want to move all of the text styles out into an external
sheet, that’s the way to go.
