With the Showcase Application/action is it possible to make a simple fade in/out slideshow with a mouse over halt?
There are a lot of combination possibilities in there, but I just can’t find the right ones.
Can somebody guide me in the right direction?

No - I dont think that it is possible. Especially not the pause on mouseover - it just isn’t in there.
Have you an example of what you are trying to achieve and we can maybe suggest an alternative.

This is how it is now, with no possibilities of pausing on mouseover. It is a flash file:

I would like it so that people can pause on mouseover, either with a fade in/out or sliding. So I tried this:

with the mootool slideshow. Works exactly how I want it, but then the Target Show/Hide item with the rollover “Photography” item in the menu somehow doesn’t work. It shows all the time.
I also tried mootool accordion, look at the bottom to the left: http://www.jonhalvorsen.com/test2.html, but then I got a warning that mootool cannot co-exist, etc. Also I could not have different links on the popup line.
Basically what I want is the slideshow in “test3.html” with the menu bar in “people.html”.
I hope I made myself reasonably clear. Any suggestions to help solve the problems are most welcome. No rush.

OK - this page uses Sequence Timer and Target Show/Hide Layers

There is also a Play/Pause button set to operate on mouseover that is in a layer over the pics and another underneath them.

This looks very promising and probably the perfect action to use. I will investigate by trial and error. If I run into problems I hope you will be able to come back with more useful information.
But relax for now, it is Saturday afternoon here in Palma and I will wind down…
