Feedback form - required field

Hi

I have just used the PHP Feedback Form and it appears to work like a
dream with the exception that I can’t seem to be able to setup
required fields . . . can one of you Freewayers please tell me if it
is possible to have required fields using the ‘PHP Feedback Form’
action?

If I add a hidden field to the form setup it just tags the following
to the bottom of the form response . . .
required ‘name’

So I guess it is either not possible or I am doing something very wrong.

I can’t seem to be able to setup required fields

The PHPFF action uses fields called ‘name’ and ‘email’ and ‘subject’ in a special way. See http://www.freewayactions.com/product.php?id=019 for more info on Special Names.

You can also use the Validate Form Suite of actions ActionsForge - The Complete Repository of Freeway Actions to make fields required before submission.

Note however that this “validation” can be disabled by the user simply
by turning off JavaScript.
