Feedback Forms in Templates

Hi I am trying to add a form to a new (blank) site but can’t work out why I don’t get the options to add placeholders etc and to identify the input fields in the inspector like I can when I edit the Band template.

I am using Insert>Input/Field but when I look at the inspector I only have the choice of Text, Password or File Upload whereas on the forms on the Band Template I get offered an array of options and a placeholder option. I’m really stuck on this.

Thanks Anthony

Hi Anthony

Make sure you set the page, or ideally the whole site, to HTML5 (Inspector, third tab from left) and the options you are looking for should magically appear!

All the best

Thanks very much Gordon. I did that and it works great.

I knew it was something simple but spent ages comparing HTML markup and other attributes.

Thanks again for answering

Cheers Anthony
