I have a CSS menu that is set in Verdana. No matter what I do, Firefox substitutes Times. I’ve tried Helvetica and Arial as well, but it always substitutes Times. The fall-back fonts are their normal default set. I have no idea why this is happening. FireFox is at factory settings.
Webfonts:
(Using Google webfonts for most content - not menus). It is really finicky regarding webfonts in a layer vs flat. Some things are visible, some aren’t.
Some off-white fonts turn black.
I used the same webfont in tagline at top and in paragraph titles - some work, some don’t.
There are certainly issues with your webfont usage with FF
