Flash Slideshows

I know about Slideshow Pro but wanted suggestions for other Flash-
based apps or scripts that people like that offer similar
functionality as SSP. I have a few already but want more options. Will
consider javascript based packages too.

The prerequisites being:

  • Platform agnostic
  • Easy for the non-technical user to update galleries and does not
    require additional apps - Flash etc… Something with a GUI is good as
    opposed to manually editing files.

Hi there Todd,

I have been a long time user of Vertical Moon’s SWF’n’Slide Pro ($64.95), and have found it to produce some pretty good slide shows with the minimum of effort. You can also export screensavers from the app and it is available for Mac and PC. It’s a bit more expensive than SlideShowPro, but I was fortunate enough to get it for a reduced price through an online promotion a few years back.
