FORM ELEMENT STYLER

I’ve created a form using a table and insereted my text fields and text area then applied the FES action and styled fields as required.

My issue is when inputting data into the fields the cursor appears in the middle of the form fields rather than at the start (top), even in the text area field that 100px deep?? Why is this?

Also is there a way to style the text inside the text area field to return once each line is filled… currently it continues to run out of the fields visible type area… annoying???

Do I need to create a TAG style to do this?

What kind of form element are you using? I suspect you are using a text field - which is for 1 line of entry.

Try using a text area instead. That is for larger blocks of text to be entered, and the text will start at the top and wrap round as text is entered.

You were right, copy & pasting form fields is not always the best option to save time! lol

many thanks
