I’ve frequently purchased MacFormat at either Borders or Barnes & Noble

Heh. Little Rock is my legal ‘place of origin’, as stated on both my
birth certificates.
(Yep, two. I’ll tell you over a beer one day.)

Keith was born twice. He wasn’t quite done the first time so they sent him back.
(I did not know about Little Rock for you, Keith, just that state back east…)

Little Rocks not a bad town. CompUSA closed down but Apple is supposed to open a store somewhere out in west Little Rock.

I was last in Little Rock in 1980, when I was 16. The film ‘Crisis at
Central High’ was being shot then, and I ended up as an extra. Hey,
$20 a day, junk food and a 1950s-style haircut seemed rather better
than hanging around with relatives! I’m in the foreground in a big
cafeteria scene, but to be honest I don’t remember much detail. Other
than having to sound like a Southern boy rather than a teenage
Londoner.

I cringe to see what the cover price is now, what with the downward spiral of the dollar.

I did find a copy of Macformat but is was not the new month copy at Barnes & Noble for $14.95 in American dollars. Kind of high I thought.
