Freeway 6.0.5

I was hoping that this release would address the message I keep getting that says " Cannot complete upload because an operation timed out. [421 Sorry, cleartext sessions are not accepted on this server.]

Do you know if there is a fix for this? Thanks so much :slight_smile:

Thank you for the update.

Question: whenever I make an update, it is not possible to delete the old version. I have to drag it to the trash by hand - which is of course no problem but… then I have to restart the computer to delete it. Otherwise it says: FW cannot be deleted because it is in use. Even if it is not in use. Happens since a few versions.

Hi Renee,

My impression of your issue is that you get that message when uploading with “FTP”, but “FTPS” was failing because it couldn’t authenticate the certificate. The latter is loosely explained on the Yahoo website as it’s related to the way they have configured their servers;

In previous versions of 6, there was no way of working around the latter issue because the Authenticate Certificate checkbox had no effect, which was fixed in 6.0.8.

In summary, I think you should be able to upload from Freeway by switching to FTPS and unchecking Authenticate Certificate.
