If you can throw an eye onto the document settings → text → standard fonts: its not possible to change them. It still sticks (german version) on the arabic fonts… Thank you anyway!

Hi Thomas,
If we’re looking at the same drop-down menu, I think you might be misinterpreting what it’s doing. There is a drop-down menu with the label “Standardschriften für: Kodierung”, this defaults to the first in the list which happens to be Arabic.
What this menu is doing is controlling which encoding you are changing with the following font options. So for example, change that menu to “Unicode 6.0 UTF-8” and then change Monaco to Microsoft Sans Serif. OK the dialog and open it up again, you’ll see that it’s reverted back to Arabic but when you switch to UTF-8, the change from Monaco to MSS will have stuck. (Don’t forget to change that back, unless you want it that way.)
The reason that the first drop-down menu doesn’t stay with the thing you last selected is just because that selection doesn’t really have any relevance to the settings being saved, it’s just providing access to them. You can flick between options in there and change the fonts for five different encodings with one OK of that dialog, for example.
By the way, in case you didn’t already know, what these options are doing is changing the font displayed within Freeway for text that will not be published with a specific font. Text in this case will take the font from the browser’s default font setting, so where different languages have different standard fonts, it makes guesses as to what it may look like based on the encoding. These options let you change those guesses.
Thank you Sim! This is what we call to miss the forest for the trees. It sticks on 5.6.5 so I thought it should be the same in 6. Routine-blinded - shame on me…
I downloaded FW 6.0.6 then deleted the version 6.0.4 and opened a file modified by the latter.
I get a warning that 6.0.6 cannot find some shared resources formorly located in the applilcation 6.0.4.
Before I go ahead and publish, is that a problem or should I try to recover the emptied trash?
Also, is there a way to recreate a version that works with 5.6.5, I have lost that and it may be a few months after the trial is over before I can purchase 6.0.x
Thanks for your time in advance,
Frank H.

Dear FreewayTalkers,
We’ve just released Freeway 6.0.6 to address a number of issues. You will be able to download this new version from the website now.
I launched FW6.0.6, clicked the Update button and let Safari download. When the download was complete, I double-clicked on the ZIP archive of Freeway6Pro607.zip and got an error message that says
Unable to expand “Freeway6Pro607.zip” into “Downloads”.
(Error 2 - No such file or directory.)
