Freeway 6

Anyone heard any news/rumours about when or if Freeway 6 may be available? It’s been a while on version 5 and I was interested to know what new features people want and may be included. Would give some heads up on planning new sites for the coming years…

That’s a pretty old list! Last entry was August 2007.

Hi John,

as “users point of view” I´d also like to know what news are there to be expected. But on the other hand, trying to look things with “developper eyes” the softpress guys and girls can`t share a huge amount of secrets that will help us or that will make us more curious what will come soon.

Following some other topics, one main point could be a better harmony between master and child-pages. And if life could be a musical request programme I´d personal prefer more eye on integrating things like JQuery or even an extended FX-Action.

For the master/child-page topic there will be no need to jump to 6.0 but to get more nicely hover transitions for navigation-elements and objects a six point would be not too bad - isn`t it?

Ahhh btw - to remove the german bug comma/point would be absolutely perfect.

Last but not least: ActionsForge has a wishlist and I`m sure that the softpress-family do not ignore them :-))) cause some “wishes” they tried to make already come true.

If all this seems to be a bit short-viewed please ignore.

Thomas

It would be nice to know a time line of updates or new version. It may save people some money to know that a feature will be available instead of getting it with another program.

Great idea! Let all the competition know when updates are due so they
can jump in and grab custom.

Good business. =o)
