That was me the servondesign one was outer first foray into c5 construction and that particular site was hand built as for is it possible to do in freeway. Technically it should be possible but its not one I would want to do without some testing. Since creating that navigation we have changed the way we approach that element of the project as it was very clunky and the grid we now use is a bespoke cms grid generator which we wrote so that changed as well. in fact we’ve changed the whole approach because it just took to long to create the site.
It may be useful to look at the responsive freeway action thats been written and see if that does what you want to achieve. I can’t remember how it handle the navigation but someone here on this forum will know
