I primarily use Freeway on an iMac the majority of the time. I have the main window set to a certain size. Every once in a while I use a Macbook Pro 13-inch laptop. When I open Freeway and the site I am working on, the main window is too big for the laptop screen. The right side and bottom of the Freeway window are off the laptop screen. I am not able to see the lower right hand corner of the window to resize the window. How can I resize the Freeway main window to fit within the laptop screen? BTW: site files are stored on a NAS so that they can be accessed by either computer.
I no longer remember how Carbon (Apple’s earlier UI frameworks and what Freeway uses) differs but does the window have the traffic light buttons, one of which would maximise the window?
Failing that, double clicking on empty space in the window’s title bar might maximise. Again though, I don’t remember if that was a feature of Carbon or not.
I believe Freeway stores the window size and position in the document so a workaround would be to make the window smaller on the iMac before saving and switching to the MacBook.
You may also be able to use Freeway’s Tile Horizontally/Vertically (in the Window menu) to resize windows.
