Freeway Shop and CMS

Hi,

Could anyone please tell me if there is a way to intergrate the Freeway Shop actions into a CMS system like WebYep or MiniCMS?

Thanks,

Richard

Hi Richard as far as I know, though Tim will be able to confirm it, the answer is no not yet. The only shope system like Mals that does work with webyep is Romancart. I am not sure about what MiniCMS can work with.

Hi Max,

Is it relatively straight forward to implement it with Romancart?

Hi Richard,
As Max mentioned integrating the Mals action suite into a CMS like
WebYep is not going to work too well at the moment. The actions
automate the task of generating the hash codes for the item security
and assume the product names, prices and other details will be
available. Allowing the site admin to specify these on the server side
via a CMS like WebYep currently throws the action into confusion as
these values will be replaced by PHP variables.
I’m hoping to produce a version of the actions that work around this
issue. Until then you can manually add your cart items using either
Mals (http://www.mals-e.com/) or RomanCart (http://
www.romancart.com/), which is almost identical to Mals, although you
will need to add these with markup items.
Regards,
Tim.
