FTG contact form doesn't work in Expression Engine Site

I am using expression engine in my personal site, but now my contact form built with FTG doesn’t work anymore.

Anyone know why? Contact page is here:

Hi Bill,

The form tag, action and method are not being set, I don’t know why they are not getting set but that is why the submit button does nothing.

I haven’t worked with the expression engine so I can’t tell you any more i’m afraid, maybe someone with more experiance using the expression engine and forms may chip in.

thanks Mike. I tried to rebuild my form in FTG but the application doesn’t recognize non-html url’s so it won’t read the form fields.

I might be out of luck and not be able to use FTG for my forms if I stick with EE on my site…that would be a disappointment.

Come to think of it, do you not need to set these yourself in Freeway
when using FTG?

Page > Form Set Up

Then set the action to the page/file the form is sent to and the
Method to POST

the page form setup is set to post with a php file generated by FTG.
I noticed the “upload stuff” action had been wiped, so I reapplied it
to upload the FTG php file for the form, still doesn’t work.

IIRC, you’re currently using EE Core, right? When you upgrade to the full EE, you can just use the built-in Email Contact Form.

I am just testing things out with the free version of the core, thanks
Joe.
