On digging into the literature published by Softpress about their professionally built Portfolio template, I find several places where strange jargon is used. Now that we are not able to contact Support to get help in tweaking templates, a glossary seems urgent.
On searching the entire Forum for the word “glossary” I see two messages back in 2006 and 2008 where the writers had the same idea — “we need a glossary”.
Does anyone know where such a glossary exists, and can tell me where to find it? If it does not exist , or is poorly developed, perhaps we could start one (or extend the pre-existing one) as a Wiki file where people can correct entries.

At this point I’m not sure you’re going to find an abundance of
assistance on this list. Most of the experienced FW users have moved on
and only rarely stop by these days.

You’ll find several of the experienced FW users (old timers) have moved
to the private FreewayTalk Google Groups. That list tends to be a bit
broader in scope, meaning it’s not only about FW and might be slightly
more technical.
Search this list for the link to the FWT Google Group.
List your terms here, and I will try to translate them into normal CSS terms, if that’s what you’re referring to. Freeway was designed for desktop publishing pros, and used those terms in its interface in preference to the accepted CSS names for things. For example, Leading means Line-spacing.

Thanks for this info., Todd. I guess I’ll try and construct a glossary for my own use, once I figure out what jargon word/phrase “X” is talking about.
