Off to the signmakers? Do it yourself, man! I did mine out of Quark,
there’s a facility to ‘tile’ a huge document so that it prints out in
A4 chunks. Did it in around 500pt Gill Sans, as I remember. Stuck the
parts together with Sellotape, wrapped it in plastic and stuck it on a
board. Ended up about five feet wide, if I remember right.
best wishes,

Not a bad idea, I’m OK printing out ‘tiled’ I was just a little concerned about how to weather-proof it … I’ll give wrapping in plastic a go … you did, however Paul, sell your place in 2 days, I wonder just how long my ‘plasticized’ effort will last in these days of ‘global wetting’ and few people buying houses !
Worth a try though thank you.

Get one of those thin plastic ‘dustsheets’ that they sell in B&Q for
about fifty bob (as we used to call it). They’re about twelve foot
square, and you only need a single layer over the front, pulled tight.
It works!

Sounds good Paul … 50 bob … that takes me back. Without wishing to extend the discussion into the ramblings of an old man (me that is) I just searched and you could have bought 50 pints of beer for 50 bob in 1960 (when I started going into pubs), you’ll struggle to buy one now, or, of course, a useful sheet of plastic !

Roger, good luck with your house sale!
After reading these informative posts I can see Fw users piling into cars and speeding over to Ethelburt Avenue like Sid Caesar in the film “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World”
