Gradient in an HTML box?

Can this be done? I just want a subtle beige background the gets darker toward the bottom. I designed the page in Photoshop, but in creating it in FW I’m trying to use HTML items, but how can I get my gradient?

Since there is no gradient effect included in Freeway for html items you will either have to create a gradient graphic in Photoshop as you suggested, or create a graphic object in Freeway and add your gradient to that using the Fill Master action, then drag it into your html object.

Chuck,

Will something done in that way expand down when a page gets full?

It will. Just make the graphic a little bigger than you think it needs to expand to then apply it as a backgroung image to the html box.
