Hi forum,
i have to send some files (PDF, one of them 60 MB big) to a print shop and planned to let them download the files on my website.
The printing company don’t provide an ftp-access to submit the files and sending them a dvd per post would take to long time.
I tried the actions “graphic link to pdf” and “…to file” but both failed during upload. FW reports something like “transmission stopped because of a timeout”. I tried to upload 3 times with the same result.
Transmitting the files per ftp-client (Fetch) to my server was no problem.
Is there a limitation concerning the data amount in Freeway or where could be the problem?
Thanx for your answers,
Tom
Did you try the different settings in File>Upload such as Passive, Non-Passive and Automatic - toggling between them may do the trick. If you are on Passive then try Non-Passive etc.
Yes of course, what i meant is: Yesterday i tried uploading in passive mode without success, today i tried again in passive mode and everything was good.
Maybe there was trouble on the server yesterday… I don’t know.
Tom
