When signed-in to a CMS account the user’s Gravatar only appears on the local site, not on the remote server. It’s not being blocked by the browser so it must be (remote) server- or CMS-related, or both. Could this be some sort of server-imposed security feature?
It’s possible, but not very likely, that Gravatar is blacklisting your server, and not letting it load the image. Can you test a simple HTML page on that server, with just an image tag linked to your own Gravatar? See if that works for a start when loaded from that server.
