gray line issue

Good afternoon,

I have designed a landing page for a company. and looking at the chandelier on the right, you see a faint gray line on the left of the chandelier.

I do know that that is also the edge of a graphic box that lays on top of the page. I have no border selected.

How can I get rid of that gray line?

thanks

Julie

Because you have used a Table based layout and graphic text (especially bad on a landing page) your image has been broken up into many components. This has resulted in these grey edges you are seeing.

You also have a 2Mb background image in there which has no content! http://housenkeyrealty.com/Resources/vintageback.jpg

How did I do a table based layout? So I have to break it all down again?

The background is a slight vintage paper look … But I will reduce the size I didn’t go back after they approved

That is what they want… It is a holding page as we develop the site.

Just select the items and make them layers.

You would be as well not having that bg at all - you cant see it!

You need to start early with your SEO - the longer that there is some real text up there the better. That Script text is awful - very hard to read.

And look at the page on an iPhone (just make sure you are on Wi-Fi first)

Ok I will… Some of the graphics are not giving me a layer option.

Thank you! U rock Dave!
