It is content spam. The poster is looking to drive SEO rankings by
adding links to his sites in his footer.
Sadly I see this a lot on forums and in blogs where someone will just
post something like;
“I agree”
or
“nice post, thanks for sharing”
Hidden in the post will almost certainly be a link they are hoping to
drive up their organic rankings.

Ah… Thats not cool I can understand - but still its very annoying on this end.
I have seen those types of comments too with blogs. I try to say something and point out what I liked so it is not just posting to post.
