h1 get rid of bold ?

Hi chaps, I’m starting a new site and am going to try and build it correctly (for a change) and create proper styles etc, the first thing I’ve come across is creating an html box typing in my ‘headline’ choosing ‘Trebuchet’ and when viewed in the browser the font has been made bold, when I try and edit the style there doesn’t seem to be a way of turning that enboldening off, in the edit styles there’s a way of turning bold ON (making it more bold) but seemingly not off. Put me out of my misery please. Roger

Under your H1 tag, click “extended” and then select “new” and then put the name as “font-weight” and set the value to “normal”

That should do it.

Excellent thanks Dan, I’ve now found that bit in the ‘reference’ - oooohhh more stuff to try and learn, I guess this is another area where some html knowledge comes in handy. Thanks for taking the time Roger

Sure Roger, it’s a standard CSS attribute that would hopefully someday make it into an updated CSS support for Freeway 5.

Thanks again Dan for the clarification. So if I find a source for “standard CSS attributes” (I have a book or two around somewhere) I could mess around seeing what options they offer ? - I guess it would be asking too much of Freeway to cover every eventuality, after all what would all the ‘coders’ do then? Best Roger

In case it’s not common knowledge, here’s a great CSS widget for
Dashboard:

Cool widget there Paul. I had seen at least two other ones like this, but they were clunky in their interface.

I’ve found it hugely useful. I’m no CSS expert, but I find that, if
you learn the basic syntax, ie, “Selector+property+value”, it makes it
very easy to look up the ‘proper names’ of stuff. Did me a power of
good.

best wishes,
