You would not believe how difficult this is to fix once it gets going.
I had this happen last year with one of my servers, and luckily it was
in my basement where I could pull the power cord to get it to stop.
Shell was completely useless. Type a letter, wait a few minutes to
see it on your screen, repeat. When the network interface is
saturated, nothing gets in or out.

Someone has been spoofing my Have Host hosted email address today and I have received well over a 1000 mail undeliverable messages.
That was before the server went down.

I see my Cpanel is back now.
And a couple of the sites I’ve checked also, i can answer the phone
again, BUT I do have a number of very GRUMPY customers!

However I have tried to send from a Have Host hosted email address and
it will not go, a server timeout. See error message:
OK secrren dump did not work … it says:
SMTP server universe...etc timed out. Contact sys admin. JAMES can
you hear?
