After updating a couple of pages on this website I noticed that the browser was blank when I attempted to view the updated pages online. So in Freeway I re-published everything and then uploaded the entire site again. Now NOTHING is showing. When I view the source, there is NOTHING there!
I can preview the page in Freeway fine, I can also use the ‘Preview in Browser’ command in Freeway and the page looks fine. This is the first time that anything like this has ever happened and I have no idea what to do. I’ve used the ‘Publish Everything’ command twice and uploaded the entire site twice. Nothing has worked.
Is anyone able to shed some light on what has happened or how to fix it? Thank you!
Check and see if you have a style named head with the attribute display:none

I should have also added that the specific head tag-style, the height
attribute misspelling, and the z-index attribute that looks more like a
phone number than actual layering is a give-away of handmade code. Whether
or not this is accidental, it is human produced.

This appears to be injected by the Evernote extension. Look in another browser (Firefox?) and see if the problem travels. Also try a different computer, or a screenshot service, and see if the problem travels there. If you haven’t installed Evernote, then this is mysterious.

Your right Walter, I have the Evernote Safari plugin installed. Also
Readability and a couple others. I may just be seeing my own browser DOM.
No page source shows, so I used the “inspect element” command on the blank
page.
Sorry for the freakout
Maybe something happened to Buck’s upload – like garbaged the file. Buck
should try manually deleting the Freeway Pro files from the server, then
re-upload them. ???

I would use a good (S)FTP app like Transmit to remove just the one offending file, then upload from Freeway again. The file could go zero-length like this due to a hiccup in the FTP server (it might report success before the file actually uploads completely).

Thanks for the all the help! Along with deleting everything off the server and re-publishing, I finally figured out that a small graphic .png file that I had added this morning was causing the problem. I’ve dumped that graphic file and now everything is back up and displaying correctly.
Well. . . it is displaying correctly in every browser except Safari 6. Thankfully, very few people will be attempting to view the page with Safari 6, but I don’t know why it doesn’t render correctly in the new version of Safari. That’s a bummer. I hope that’s not indicative of things to come. Has anyone else had any problems with the way Safari 6 renders their Freeway created sites?
