Yeahh - a link would be really exciting, more than thousand words (independent of language). I long thought about this and I got some basic questions:
Hello, i am use to go internet and my problem is, that´s not the only problem “i am not a freak or a professional in html5 or css3”. Therefor i am working with freeway.
Which will mean that you work for years with Freeway?
First I take the carousel2 Aktion to make a slider, but the carousel2 do not work with flexible image and with responsive thinks and the greatest problem is, carousel2 do not work in a group with html text. ok! Take it away the carousel.
You already challenged the gist of Responsive Design in Freeway? Inline Construction, using even @media?
Cool - cause I know not that much FW-users able to do - so let me know more.
OK i wanna take some query thinks but i do not know how bring it in my site?
One possibility of creating responsive carousels (or sliders) is WOW-Slider (have a google). There are several lists here about its integration.
Is there anybody outside can help me in an for me understandable language (here i mean english or german)
Tanks
If you prefer german, have a look at:
http://www.kimmich-dm.de/fwp-forum.html
… however we can naturally stay here, especially if it is of common interest. So I often transfer this from the german-board to here and vice-versa.
But if responsiveness is not needed (for whatever reason), I have to double Walter:
The carousel helped me years to wrap ALL thinkable content and I created some still working pretty nice ones. The only downside is indeed, that it requires fixed widths and heights (unfortunately).
Please keep in mind:
Switching to jQuery is possible, however not always to recommend, cause if you switch it could mean that you have to leave the saver way of using Freeway-Actions (Basically the scripty and fx ones). And a brutal downside of jQuery is to leave the “visual” control and to deal (sometimes) with native (MarkUp) code and a lot of external resources.
Cheers
Thomas
