Horizontal CSS Menu spacing

The css menu spacing is terrible when using them horizontally.

is there a way to space them out better?

Yep, it’s in the action palette.

Pushing further, I’m sure your next question would be “is there anyway to space them out better using what’s currently available via the action?”

The answer then would be “No.” I’ve requested variable spacing several times to no avail. I’d like to find a way where it could be “character” amount specific via the Action, but was told it wasn’t possible currently.

Dan,

Yeah the only way i’ve worked around this is to create a single css drop down for each item them move them around to line the spacing up.

Sounds a bit drastic, but if you only have a reasonable amount of links then that’s always an option.

I saw your page on the Softpress.com site and went through your great photography. There were some weird parts with some “MobileMe” galleries that took a while to load up, but other than that great work.

If you sent up your own CSS menu styles in the Styles pallet, you can change the spacing anyway you like.

Maybe this thread will help.
