Hover over text

Hi I’m new to Freeway but couldn’t find the answer to this in the knowledge base.

I have a line of HTML text that when visitors hover over i’d like a small text box to open with some explanatory text in.

Can somebody explain how or point me in the direction of the right action.

I think there is an action for this if its a graphic but not if its text.

Any helpful suggestions from the experts would be gratefully received!

Thanks

  • Select the text
  • Press Command+K (add hyperlink)
  • Add a link to ‘#’
  • Add the text you want to appear in ‘title’
  • Done

For example … look at http://www.zakenwijzer.nl/opleiden/index.html (dutch, but who cares). At the right you’ll see a couple of downloads. Hovering above it results in a small text box.

Hi,

I currently have a number of graphic items that I have made as buttons with a hyperlink and title. All works fine in Safari/FF with hovering and title display but when I port my Site Folder over to Vista IE7 via VMWare and hover, it is actually displaying the graphic item item value, such as button1 or button2 etc instead of the item’s actual hyperlink title.

Any ideas?

Thanks T.
