How do I set Freeway to open Parallels?

Hi all,

Any idea how I can set it so that when I go to preview a page in Freeway, and I select IE, it will open up IE via Parallels and not the Mac IE that is pre-installed?

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon,

You need to find where the IE application is stored. It’s usually
inside the VM bundle, the best way to get at it is to open Parallels,
start IE and Command+click on the IE icon in the Dock. Once you’ve got
it in the Finder go to the Browser Setup dialog in Freeway (Click and
hold on the default browser in the toolbar and choose Browser Setup),
hit New and drag the IE icon from the Finder window into the “Choose
an Application” dialog.

Once you’ve done that you should be able to select it and preview in
IE on Windows!*

Disclaimer, I have only tried this on VMWare, but it should be the same.

Hope this helps,

Joe
