how FE compares to iWeb/Sandvox/RapidWeaver ?

I can of course can keep using iWeb, and only change the hosting soon, when MobileMe ends. But I’d like to hear from users of FE, is FE better than iWeb/Sandvox/RapidWeaver ?

Those of you who switched to FE, what is your opinions, please ?
Thanks!

If by better you mean, fully customisable, allowing you to create what your imagination can muster, then yes. Most definitely better.

Thank you dunlop1980!

you mean by customization, that objects can be freely drag-n-drop ?
Are there any attractive templates like in iWeb ?
I think the templates help a lot in building a good looking website. It’s like a helping hand…

where I can see some websites built with FE ?

Thank you very much!

Switched over from Rapidweaver several months ago.
One big thing for me was that I could customize things without having to keep purchasing addons.

There is learning curve which is greatly helped by the manual Freeway offers compared to next to nothing from Rapidweaver. This was the big selling point for me. You can even purchase a printed manual from LULU. Brilliant idea in my mind.

Know nothing of Sandvox.

I have been working with iWeb for a long time. Still have som sites running. I don’t know nothing about Html or Css, so the first change for me was Sandvox. I must say, i like it a lot! But for me as a starting designer, i want to work from zero and with a template based programm thats not possible. I switch to Freeway and its realy great. There is al lot of help here at Freewaytalk, and i use the Freeway reference guide that I purchased from Lulu.
