How is this done

GOod morning,

I was searching for inspiration for a new client. I found this website:

I love the fact that the css menu (?) when you mouse over looks like it rolls over to the same word.

Also, I thought it was interesting if you look into the top right corner you see the icons with an x at the end. This closes the browser window.

Can we do the same trick to our css menu that they have on theirs?

also, when you open the page you have one logo sliding up and one sliding down to meet in the middle - how is this done?

Lots o questions sorry.

Thank you!

Julie

This entire page is done with Flash. Not that it couldn’t necessarily
be done in JavaScript, but I didn’t bother loading the page when I saw
that there wasn’t any HTML to speak of, so I haven’t looked at the
animations.

Can I ask why when you did not see any html? and how did you see that with out the page being loaded?

I think the biggest think i liked was the “css menu” I like the rollover effect but I also like the horizontal drop downs (sub menu) instead of the vertical. But as I remember we can not do the horizontal with the css menu action we have

I have ClickToFlash installed in Safari. When I open the page, all I
see are a bunch of gray rectangles with the CTF logo in them. No
effort whatsoever put toward making the page accessible or usable, IMO.

Gotcha. I think that is a good thing to have.

I will look at it to have it also so I can see that too.

I totally agree. I was liking some features. but hey there are alternatives out there.
