How to avoid publishing a page

Not a very original question, I suspect, but given a Freeway document
where one has made several pages, is it possible, on/before
upload/publish, to tell Freeway (Pro) to only publish one of the 4-5
pages I designed?

Situation: I often create a new Freeway document, inside of which
create parallel variants of the same page. Some pages are even just for
notes or some other kind help.

Deleting the unnecessary pages is perhaps what I should do, but since
some of them contains notes and design ideas, I wanted to avoid it.

The easiest way to do this is to select these “scratch” pages and make them into master pages. Page / Make Master.

This is an oft-requested feature, I’m hoping that Softpress can add it some day.

Hi Walter, thanks for great workaround! May be one way for Softpress to
implement would be something similar: A way to turn a page into
”scratch page” - something between a Mastepage and a Page.

I see this as an action/setting that you can apply to a sub Folder that ensures that all pages within are not uploaded.

Hi, I wonder if this is possible in the meantime two years later. I work with my own templates with different pages/content in order not to make the same stuff again and again for a new site. This feature would come in very handy. Especially when clients start with small sites and like to let them grow step by step, for the design process too. I would love to just mark a page not to be outputed and uploaded. Simply to save time!

Any news here?

Thanks a lot,
Hanna
