how to delete account

Hi

anyone know how to delete my account from freewaytalk? I go to account and there is nothing there that says delete.

You can unsubscribe from every list from your user profile page, which is functionally nearly the same thing. Your postings to the list are a historical record, and so the system is not designed to allow deletion of users (since that would result in data loss, as all of your postings, particularly any threads you started, would also be deleted). This decision was was last considered in 2003 or 4, though, and may need to be revisited given the recent (and not-so-recent) changes in privacy law.
