How to edit a post in freewaytalk.net ?

Not sure if this question was already asked before (at least I haven’t found it here), but I wonder if there is a way to edit own postings at freewaytalk.net ?

Sometimes I find spelling errors in my postings I want to correct, but there is no way to edit them. So it would be nice to have at least a time frame of thirty minutes (or until a reply was made) to fix postings.

It has, and the answer is you cannot. This forum is email based so once a post is “emailed” theres is no going back to edit it.

This was one reason that we added the live preview, and cannily put
the submit button UNDER that! By the way, if you are using Safari,
there’s a preference to enable spell-checking in textareas, and if
you enable that, you will at least get the more flagrant errors
underlined with red dots.

This isn’t a plain old web forum - it is a damn clever web/email
hybrid, and a peer-level member of the group like you and me. You’re
really viewing the posts that have been sent out. Also, a significant
number of us receive all posts by email. Even if you could edit
what’s stored on the web server you can’t correct slips in the email
posts I’ve already received!

Basically, don’t make a mistake.
More importantly, don’t worry about it! We all slip up sometimes when
typing, you won’t be judged on that.

I think I’ll follow your second advise; guess the first one is impossible to achieve

Spell check is nice and I have turned it on since I was aware of this feature, but due to the fact that I have set it to “multi-language” (writing English and German), it sometimes marks a word as being correct, although it isn’t in that language.

(Hope that there are no spelink misdackes in this post
