html box size changes

Good Evening,

I am doing a a website that I have 2 HTML boxes with a thick border on the top / bottom and thin one on the sides. (I used a HTML not a graphic for the exact reason of the different border sizes since I cant seem to do that on a graphic box.

in FW the size of the box is:

196w x 135h

but when it is uploaded it is a lot bigger than that. Also, even if it is even on top in FW it looks uneven on the site/ (I used a grid to ensure even tops)
PS the pictures on the left is a much larger graphic laying on top the size that the box ends up to be.

ANy suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. I have pulled the page apart and back together…

Hi Julie,

not sure how you built it but it’s in its nature, that a HTML Item, applied borders, padding, margin increases the size of the “surrounding-div” but is probably not to be seen in the Freeway-Doc, so a box with the width of 100px (Freeway), applied a border of 10px solid will be finally 120px wide in the source-code.

Further:

Your image is 234px wide, so the carrier should be at least min. 234px wide to host its content or am I wrong here?

As far as I can see, both boxes have the same margin-top (11px) so I think they’re one line.

Cheers

Thomas
