HTML or JPG or PNG

If I have a website and if I set a unicolor background the easy way (let’s say the background of the page is green and the window background from the page is red) is it actually better to define the green page background itself as a HTML-Box or as a jpg?

We would finally have a green page in front of a red window.

Hope my question is clear :o)

Images - no matter what size - increase bandwith/page load times so it is always better to use html colours in that respect.

So add the colour to your page size html box - but this will depend on your page construction.

If you are using an inline construction method this may not be the way to go.

Best to show us your page.

This is now unnecessary with the option to set separate Window and Page backgrounds in FW6.
