HTTPS

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am a freeway pro 5 novice user and i have a question regarding the naming of https pages. currently I am developing a site for client that contains a php feedback form that redirects to a thank you or error page. My hosting company has setup a SSL certificate on the site. I have named each page in the site in the inspector file window but when I try to place the complete URL address here it truncates the name removing the :// for example https://www.alanlowellseminars.com/orderALS.html becomes
httpswww.alanlowellseminars.comorderhtml

I want to setup this page and the thanky ou and error redirects to https:// where and how should I accomplish this. Should this happen in the page form setup or html markup windows?

Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated

Respectfully,

Anthony Leyrer

Hi Anthony,
In the action select the Success and Error controls and select Other,
then the External tab, and enter your full https URL in the address
box. The action should redirect the user to the https pages when needed.
Regards,
Tim.

Tim,

You Rock, Thanks for the fast response. It worked I just didn’t know to add the https there in the other field.
Freeway Pro is great!
Thanks again
Anthony

PS
Can you recommend any advanced training resources to help me to develop a robust e commerce interface, I have a customer with a line of convenience store products who wants to go online from a spreadsheet and be able to interact with it. I have built a couple of things in the last year using freeway and mals e cart solution but I am not sure this will work at this level. I don’t know alot about php or mysql kinda lost as to the right steps to pull it off.
Another member recommended Clear Cart which I am looking into but I want to learn and manage this under license myself. Any advise you or someone else reading this may have would certainly be appreciated.
Is something simple and powerful out that I can buy as a package to work with freeway pro.

Anthony
