I have a gig for the right person

I was contacted about a design and development job but had to pass. Instead I will be providing the client with a list of potential candidates by close of business on 1/5/15. That will end my involvement and the client (not me) will decide who, if anyone, they want to contact.

If you would like to be considered email me off-list with your name, a link to your work and contact info. and I will pass it on.

The basic (initial) project requirements as they were explained to me:

~40 pages initially.
CMS - multiple users with different access levels. This is not a WebYep or Pulse job.
Must have solid Web and graphic design experience. There might also be minor print work (bus. cards, letterhead).
Must be able to write very clean and maintainable/reusable HTML and CSS. A little js know-how wouldn’t hurt (not required).
Good understanding of UX, UI and branding.
Might need to remotely collaborate with PHP dev. to integrate custom functionality.
Will need to setup a mailing campaign (they mentioned MailChimp) and build a couple HTML newsletter templates.
They will be ready to start no later than the 2nd week of Jan.

The client is in the ad biz and is located in N.Y. They were very clear about wanting someone who understands front-end code. If that’s not you I can’t submit your info. This will almost certainly lead to a lot of ongoing work … if they like you.
