Identifying Images

Hi All,

All of the images on my website are kept in my Media Folder. If I
select an image (graphic item), how can I identify which photo it is in
my Media Folder? In other words, when I select an image, the only clue
is in the Inspector Palette under Title. But, that only shows Freeway’s
title for the item, not the original image name. The answer must be
right in front of me, but I can’t seem to find it. BTW, I’m using FWPro
3.5.12.

Thanks in advance!

I’m having a job remembering Freeway 3.5.12, but I’d guess that if you
double-click the image, a dialog will come up that tells you, among
other things, the path to the image, along with its name.

Also Edit / Resources in the main menu will show you a huge list and
if you stretch it out far enough you can squint out the path to the
images.

If you want to show the file in the Finder there is no direct shortcut for that
although what I tend to do is to right click the image, select Edit and then
select the Preview application. Once open in Preview you can then Command-click
on the name in the title bar to navigate to the parent folder and have the
Finder select the file for you.
I was hoping that a simple AppleScript droplet would do this for you once added
as a application under the Edit contextual menu but, alas, it doesn’t work. It
appears either Freeway isn’t giving the script the path to the file or is
expecting something back from the script which it just isn’t getting. Either
way the script launches and silently quits.
Regards,
Tim.
